Web development with an engineering backbone
We build custom web applications from £2,000 fixed price: customer portals, booking systems, internal tools, e-commerce and SaaS products. The stack is React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript, with automated testing and post-launch support included.
Unlike most development shops, we also run infrastructure for a living. The application ships with CI/CD, monitoring and sensible hosting, not just source code.

A good fit if:

What you actually get
A written specification before code
Larger projects start with a paid discovery (£1,500) that produces a written spec, architecture outline and a fixed quote. Small projects get a one-page scope in the quote. Either way, you know what you are buying.
Production-quality code you own
TypeScript, code review, automated tests on the critical paths, and a repository handed over in your own GitHub account.
Deployment pipeline and hosting
CI/CD from day one, so every change is tested and deployed automatically. Hosting is set up on AWS or Vercel with monitoring and error alerting.
E-commerce when you need it
Shopify and WooCommerce builds for standard stores, and custom checkout flows with Stripe when the off-the-shelf platforms do not fit.
Post-launch support
Every build includes a defined support period for fixes, and an optional monthly retainer for improvements after that.
How it works, from enquiry to handover
- Scoping call. Free, 30 minutes. We establish what the software must do and whether discovery is needed.
- Discovery for larger builds. A £1,500 fixed engagement producing a specification, architecture outline and fixed build quote within 2 weeks. You keep the spec whether or not you build with us.
- Build in fortnightly increments. Working software every two weeks on a preview environment, with a short review call. No six-month silences.
- Launch and handover. Production deployment, monitoring, documentation, and a handover session with whoever will own the system.

Price is driven by the number of user-facing screens, integrations with other systems, and compliance requirements, not by hours. All prices are in GBP. Any applicable VAT is confirmed on your written quote before payment.

What we need from you

- Test users willing to try early versions and be honest about them
Honest answers to common objections
“Fixed price software always ends in change-request fights.”
It does when the scope was never written down. Our discovery output is specific enough to price honestly. Small change requests inside a build are absorbed, and genuine scope changes are quoted separately in writing before we do them, so you decide.
“Why not hire a freelancer for less?”
A good freelancer is a fine choice for a well-defined small task. What you get from us is the parts freelance engagements usually skip: testing, deployment automation, monitoring, documentation, and someone still answering the phone next year.
“Will AI make this cheaper soon?”
AI tooling already makes us faster, and our fixed prices reflect that. What it does not replace is the engineering judgement about what to build and how to run it in production, which is where projects usually fail.

Frequently asked questions
What technologies do you build with?
React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript for most applications, Python where it fits better, PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data, and AWS or Vercel for hosting. We choose per project and explain why in the quote.
Can you take over an existing codebase?
Yes. We start with a paid code and infrastructure review so both sides know what state it is in, then quote for stabilising and extending it. If a rebuild would be cheaper than a rescue, we will tell you.
Do you build MVPs for startups?
Yes. A scoped MVP with a fixed price and a realistic launch date is exactly the kind of project we like. We will also tell you which features to cut, because most first versions are too big.
Who owns the intellectual property?
You do, on final payment. Code is developed in a repository transferred to your account, and the contract assigns IP to you.
What happens if you disappear?
Everything runs in accounts you own with documentation in the repository, so any competent developer could take over. That is a deliberate design goal, not an afterthought.
