IT support priced per user, run by engineers

Managed IT support from £30 per user per month: helpdesk, patching, monitoring and Microsoft 365 administration, with defined response times. Same-day on-site visits are available within roughly 15 miles of our Aldershot base, which covers Farnborough, Farnham, Fleet, Camberley and Guildford.

Remote response averages under 15 minutes during business hours, and the person who answers is an engineer who can actually fix the problem.

Who this is for, and who it is not

A good fit if:

  • Businesses with roughly 5 to 50 staff that need IT handled properly without hiring in-house
  • Offices in the Aldershot area that want an engineer on-site the same day when remote support is not enough
  • Firms whose current provider takes days to respond or bills surprise hours

Not the right service if:

  • You want a large 24/7 international service desk with hundreds of seats. We are the wrong size for you, on purpose
  • You need one-off help with a single home PC. A local repair shop will serve you better and cheaper

What you actually get

Helpdesk with defined response times

Phone, email and remote-desktop support during business hours (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00). Remote response averages under 15 minutes, and critical issues are escalated immediately.

Monitoring and patching

Your machines and servers are monitored, and operating system and application patches are applied on a schedule, so problems are often fixed before you notice them.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration

User setup and offboarding, mailbox and sharing management, licence housekeeping, and security baselines like MFA enforced by default.

On-site visits

Same-day on-site support within roughly 15 miles of Aldershot when hands-on work is needed. Within Aldershot itself we aim to arrive within the hour for critical issues.

Backup, procurement and vendor liaison

Backup management with tested restores, hardware and software procurement at cost, and dealing with your other suppliers (broadband, printers, phones) so you do not have to.

How it works, from enquiry to handover

  1. Free scoping call. We count users and devices, note what is causing pain, and give you a per-user monthly quote in writing.
  2. Onboarding (within 5 working days). Monitoring agents installed, documentation captured, passwords secured, and a baseline security review completed.
  3. Business as usual. Your team contacts the helpdesk directly. You get a monthly summary of tickets, response times, patch status and anything that needs a decision.
  4. Quarterly review. A short call covering what broke, what is ageing, and what to budget for. No surprise invoices.

Fully managed£50 per user per monthEverything in Essential plus on-site visits, backup management, procurement and vendor liaison

Servers and specialist systems are priced per item on the quote. Minimum term is rolling 30 days. We keep clients by being good, not by contract lock-in. All prices are in GBP. Any applicable VAT is confirmed on your written quote before payment.

Fixed-scope options you can buy directly: IT support, per user.

What we need from you

  • Admin access to your current systems, or whatever access your outgoing provider will give. We handle awkward handovers regularly
  • A list of users and devices, which we will help you compile
  • A named contact for decisions and approvals

Honest answers to common objections

“We already have someone’s nephew who does our IT.”

That works until the day it really matters: a crypto-locked server, a leaver who kept access, an insurance form asking about your security controls. Per-user pricing means proper cover usually costs less than one emergency call-out a year.

“Switching providers sounds disruptive.”

Onboarding runs alongside your existing arrangement and your team keeps working throughout. The switchover moment is typically a single email telling staff the new support address and number.

“What does 24/7 monitoring actually mean if your helpdesk is business hours?”

Monitoring agents watch systems around the clock and alert us to failures. Staffed helpdesk response is Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00. If you need contractual out-of-hours response, tell us in scoping and we will quote for it honestly rather than pretending it is free.

Frequently asked questions

How fast do you respond?

Remote response averages under 15 minutes during business hours. For critical on-site issues in Aldershot we aim to arrive within the hour, and same-day within our 15-mile radius.

Do you require long contracts?

No. Support runs on a rolling 30-day agreement. The onboarding work is charged once, and you can leave with a month’s notice. We will even help you offboard properly.

Can you support a mix of Windows and Mac?

Yes. Most of our client fleets are mixed Windows and macOS with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace on top. Phones and tablets are covered for email and access issues.

What counts as a user?

A person with a company account, whatever the number of devices they use. Shared mailboxes and meeting-room kit do not count as users.

Do you handle cybersecurity too?

The baseline is included: MFA, patching, endpoint protection and sensible M365 settings. Deeper work, such as audits, Cyber Essentials certification support and staff phishing training, is our cybersecurity service, and support clients get it at retainer rates.
