Because our background is infrastructure engineering, the things most agencies bolt on later (hosting, performance, security, search visibility) are built in from the start.

You see and sign off the design of every key page before any development starts. Revisions happen at the design stage, where they are cheap, not after launch.

Over 60% of visits to local business sites happen on phones, so we design at phone width first and scale up. Every site is tested at 320px through 1440px.
Search-ready structure
Clean HTML that search engines and AI assistants can read without executing JavaScript, proper titles and descriptions on every page, structured data, and a generated sitemap.
Contact plumbing that works
A tested contact form with spam protection, a tappable phone number, and analytics so you can see where enquiries come from.
Handover and support
You own the site and the domain. We hand over access, a short walkthrough, and 30 days of post-launch fixes. Ongoing maintenance is optional, never forced.
How it works, from enquiry to handover
- Enquiry and scoping call (week 0). A free 30-minute call. We ask what the site needs to achieve, what content exists, and give you a fixed written quote within 2 working days.
- Design (weeks 1 to 2). Homepage and key page designs in Figma, with one structured revision round included.
- Build (weeks 2 to 3). Development, content entry, and performance work. You get a private preview link throughout.
- Launch (weeks 3 to 4). Domain, hosting, SSL, redirects from any old site, and search console setup. A starter site is typically live in 3 to 4 weeks from sign-off.

The price changes with page count, custom functionality (booking, payments, members areas), and whether we write the copy or you supply it. Whatever the scope, the quote is fixed in writing before we start. All prices are in GBP. Any applicable VAT is confirmed on your written quote before payment.

- One person able to give feedback and approvals. Decision by committee is the most common cause of delay
Honest answers to common objections
“I can get a website for £300 online.”
You can, and for some one-person businesses that is genuinely the right call. What the £300 site does not include is design around your actual customers, performance work, search structure, or anyone to call when it breaks. If a website is how customers judge you before they ring, it is worth doing properly once.
“How do I know it will actually rank?”
No honest firm guarantees rankings. What we guarantee is the technical foundation search engines reward: fast loads, clean server-rendered HTML, valid structured data, and correct local business signals. If you want ongoing ranking work, that is our SEO retainer, and we will tell you plainly whether you need it.
“What happens after launch? Am I locked in?”
No. You own the code, the content, the domain and the hosting account. Maintenance retainers are optional and cancellable monthly.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a website take?
A starter site is typically live in 3 to 4 weeks from design sign-off. A larger business site with CMS and integrations usually takes 6 to 8 weeks. The most common delay is waiting for content, which is why we agree a content plan in week one.
Do you use WordPress?
When it is the right tool, yes. That is usually when you need a familiar CMS and plugins. For most business sites we build with modern static-first tooling because it is faster, more secure, and cheaper to host. We recommend the platform after scoping, not before.
Can you redesign my existing site without losing my Google rankings?
Yes. We map every existing URL, set up permanent redirects for anything that moves, and preserve the page structure search engines already understand. Redirect mapping is part of every redesign quote.
Is hosting included?
First-year hosting is included on our recommended platform. After that, hosting is billed at cost, typically a few pounds a month for a business site, or transferred to your own account if you prefer.
Do you write the content?
We can. Copywriting is quoted per page as an optional line on your quote. Many clients write their own first draft and have us edit it for the web.
