Terms of service

These terms govern work carried out by Joro Services Ltd (company number 14079588, registered office Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX). Your written quote or proposal sits on top of these terms and, where the two differ, the quote wins. Last updated: 25 July 2026.

1. Scope of work

Every engagement has a written scope: the quote for project work, the package page and proposal for packaged services, and the stated monthly deliverables for retainers. We deliver what is written. Requests outside the written scope are welcome and are quoted separately before any work on them starts. We do not bill for surprises.

2. Prices and payment

3. What you must provide

Timely content, feedback, approvals and access as set out in the quote. Where client delay stalls a project for more than 30 days, we may invoice for work completed to date and re-schedule the remainder.

4. Ownership of deliverables

On full payment, you own the deliverables: code (in a repository transferred to your account), designs, content and documentation produced for you. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools and templates, licensed to you as needed for the deliverables to work. Third-party components keep their own licences (all open-source licences used are recorded in the project handover). Until full payment, deliverables remain ours.

5. Cancellation

6. Warranties and support

Project deliverables include the post-launch fix period stated in the quote (typically 30 days) covering defects against the written scope. We do not warrant outcomes outside our control, such as search rankings, advertising results and third-party platform behaviour, and any figures we cite (such as averages across our client base) are historical fact, not promises.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability for an engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement in the 12 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. We carry professional indemnity insurance.

8. Data protection and confidentiality

Both parties keep each other’s non-public information confidential. Where we process personal data on your behalf we do so under UK GDPR on your documented instructions; our own processing is described in the privacy policy.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stand. Questions about these terms: info@joroservices.org.
