Custom software is quoted after a paid discovery, because honest fixed prices need a written scope. The £1,500 discovery engagement produces that scope: a specification, an architecture outline, and a fixed build quote, delivered within 2 weeks.

The specification is yours to keep. Take our build quote, or take the document to any developer you like; it is written to be buildable by anyone competent.

What is included

• Structured discovery sessions with the people who know the process the software must support
• A written functional specification of screens, flows and integrations
• Architecture outline and technology recommendation with reasoning
• A fixed, itemised build quote with a realistic timeline
• A cut-list: the features we recommend deferring from version one, and why

What is not included

• The build itself, which is quoted from the discovery output, typically £5,000 to £25,000
• Detailed visual design of every screen (scoped in the build quote)

Payment terms

The £1,500 discovery fee is paid up front. If you proceed to the build with us within 60 days, it is credited against the build price in full.

All prices are in GBP. Any applicable VAT is confirmed on your written quote before payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch our systems.

Cancellation

Discovery is a short fixed engagement; once sessions are booked the fee is non-refundable, but the deliverable is yours regardless of whether you build with us.
